The Board is a wonderful way to meet other moms and get more involved in STAMA, as well as our Parish. Board members will likely tell you they’ve met some of their closest STAMA friends through Board involvement!

The Board offers leadership roles, committee positions, and many roles you can do on your own time. We know the needs and wants are different for all of us busy moms! The bylaws give a detailed description of each board position.

►STAMA has been around for over 60 years! (founded in 1961)

►Every year STAMA hosts around 50 events for St. Thomas moms and their families, in addition to managing a Bible study, the Christmas Pageant, Children’s Garden, VBS and Religious Education programs. We also coordinate playgroups, meals for moms, service projects, charity donations and more!

►There are currently over 30 STAMA Board members! We are all fellow moms with young children, who find some time every month to keep this unique and beloved organization running smoothly!

►Former Board members will tell you STAMA was great preparation for later participation in STAPA (the STA School Parents’ Association)!
